The Different Freemasons Lodges in the District of South Africa North

Lodge Name: Bryanston

Lodge Number: 7815
Consecrated: 1962
Region: St Michaels Church
Address:
P.O. Box 67101  Bryanston
History of the Lodge:

Bryanston Lodge was formed to bridge the gap between Johannesburg and Pretoria. The founders decided to follow the 'English' tradition of meeting earlier and dining afterwards. The first meeting place was the Methodist Church Hall but then changed to St. Michael's Church Hall and dining afterwards at the Bryanston Country Club, with the Installation meeting being held at Freemasons' Hall, Parktown.

Since consecration the Lodge has grown steadily and can fairly claim,in its own words, that 'it has vigorously pursued the charitable aims of Freemasonry’.

Meeting place: Bryanston and St Michaels to Rivonia Recreational Centre, 7 Achter Road, Rivonia

While Freemasonry is the largest and best know fraternal organisation the world has ever seen, it is without a doubt the least understood. It is hoped that this web site will help to make people have a better understanding of the organisation and in particular its activities in South Africa.   Read more about Masonry...
